What do you like best about Lingo?
Lingo is a fantastic asset library–it handles a wide variety of file types and makes them easy to find, use and update. We also use Lingo as a living design guide and DAM. The ability to interlace documentation with asset delivery makes Lingo a nimble partner in the creative process.
What do you dislike about Lingo?
I wish lingo could help us organize copy documents (largely Google doc links) along with our assets in a better way. Currently, we just link to documents with the notes feature, but this doesn’t solve the problem in the long run.
Lingo Description
Lingo is a cloud-based electronic data interchange (EDI) system which assists suppliers and retailers with order processing and database support. Its key features include document archiving, EDI testing, third party integrations, mapping support, and label printing.
Lingo offers an order processing module which enables users to integrate orders from online marketplaces such as Amazon Seller Central and Jet and eCommerce stores powered by applications including Shopify and Magento. Managers can track shipping information by connecting the system with service providers such as FedEx, UPS and Endicia. The batch processing functionality allows teams to review documents like invoices and purchase orders, make edits, and save changes.
Lingo includes a packing functionality which enables teams to combine packing information on a spreadsheet and list all items in a sequence. Team members can use this tool to create a PDF version of packaging labels and export them to warehouses.
